Evolution isn't all about Giraffes having long necks, and Monkeys turning into humans. Its all about how everything shares a common ancestor. We all start from this "thing", then we slowing evolve generation after generation.

John 1:3

All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Fitness, not meaning getting in shape, but natural selection. It basically means that an animals fitness depends on where it lives. If it lives in the desert, the animal isn't going to have a fur coat, its going to have something to make sure the animal doesn't die of heat.

·         When it comes to crickets, what does fitness mean?
-Not how they sing, but how quiet they can sing. Because if they're too loud, they will get eaten by a bat. The cricket in the story was too loud and had been eaten by a bat.
·         Is calling good or bad for a cricket's fitness?
-Only if they're quiet, because they don't want to have too much attention. So, good if they're quiet enough to not be caught. But bad if they're loud.
·         Give some examples of selection at work in this cricket story.
-The loud and good singer got eaten by a bat. But they quiet one still sang and didn't get eaten. The bat wait until a bug is loud enough for it to hear the bug.

·         How does selection favor calling? How does selection favor not calling?
-The best calling will get the female, but the loudest will get eaten by a bat. Selection favors ones that aren't loud enough to attract bats. Selection favors crickets that can sing the best and are the most quiet.
